It was really wonderful as it's a mysore-style class, so he comes round and adjusts you individually. He suggested a few modifications to various asanas which were really helpful, and I use everyday. He is gentle, and kind, and it was a really lovely couple of workshops. I’ve signed up for every session this April. I dont want to miss any of them!"

"My last workshop with Peter Sanson was such a treat...Peter wears his experience lightly: he’s cheery, welcoming and attentive... "My last workshop with Peter Sanson was such a treat: for me, a rare opportunity for the kind of deep practice that a toddler leaves little time for these days! Peter wears his experience lightly: he’s cheery, welcoming and attentive. Moreover I love Mysore-style yoga, as it allows me to practise at my own pace, respecting the limitations of my breath and energy, in community rather than competition with the students around me."

"[Peter] usually gives a talk after practise. Do not miss this! He may tell funny stories from his...experience as... student and teacher, told always with humility and gratitude, but the point is ultimately a reminder of how we could and should live: with open minds and hearts." "I have been coming to Peter’s workshop in London for many years. I love his perception, his humour and encouragement. Most of all it is the joy with which he teaches this practice: with devotion and enthusiasm. On the Saturday or Sunday he usually gives a talk after practise. Do not miss this! He may tell funny stories from his lived experience as both student and teacher, told always with humility and gratitude, but the point is ultimately a reminder of how we could and should live: with open minds and hearts. For me this workshop has always felt like a renewal of my connection with this wonderful ashtanga practise."

"Peter is as welcoming to beginners as regular experienced students... His adjustments are wonderful. They help me relax throughout difficult asana but also guide me to support myself...the energy in the room that he creates...brings so much joy and fulfillment during the practice. I can’t wait to see him again in April." ....................................................... "Practicing with Peter is pure joy from the moment you step into the room surrounded by his soothing chanting. My (grown) children only join me for yoga when Peter Sanson is around (or travel together with and without me to see him in other countries!). That says a lot, since I’ve been practicing for 20+ years before they started their first practice with him. Peter is as welcoming to beginners as regular experienced students. He has a special knack of meeting everyone where they are and embracing each person individually. I’ve been coming to Peters workshops since 2014 for his supportive, open and welcoming teaching style. His adjustments are wonderful. They help me relax throughout difficult asana but also guide me to support myself. But mostly, I enjoy the energy in the room that he creates which brings so much joy and fulfillment during the practice. I can’t wait to see him again in April."

"The first time I practised with Peter... I’d been practising Ashtanga Yoga for 17 years...he completely changed my approach... through his humble nature, humour...experience, compassion and complete presence and care for each and every student." "The first time I practised with Peter was 8 years ago. At that point in time I’d been practising Ashtanga Yoga for 17 years, but in that one session he completely changed my approach to practice through his humble nature, humour, depth of experience, compassion and complete presence and care for each and every student. In the room and during his talks he reminds us to see, feel and question what it means to be human, what it means to be present. If you practise Ashtanga Yoga & haven’t experienced Peter's teaching I would highly recommend it, as you never know it might be life changing!"

"I have never experienced such a wonderful atmosphere in a practice room. Peter is a rare, rare teacher and what he is teaching in the room goes far deeper than the asana practice." "Coming to Peter’s class as an older yoga practitioner, with various ailments and not altogether comfortable with Ashtanga, I was apprehensive. However as soon as I entered the Shala I was immediately put at ease! I have never experienced such a wonderful atmosphere in a practice room. Peter teaches with such sweetness and warmth. He is gentle, funny, welcoming and so so caring of everyone in the room. I felt we were all met, supported and nourished. Peter is a rare rare teacher and what he is teaching in the room goes far deeper than the asana practice. What’s the feeling of being in the room with Peter and Roberta? - IT’S ALL HEART. I highly recommend this amazing opportunity to experience the joy of practising with Peter and Roberta."

"I have seen him teach people who are really ill and injured...the young and those a lot older - all are welcome." "Peter is one of a kind - even though the room is crowded and you think he's forgotten you, he hasn't, he sees all. He is humble and encourages a gentle practice, and challenges you enough that you are out of your comfort zone yet within your own ability. He welcomes all kind of practitioners, I have seen him teach people who are really ill and injured to someone who is very advanced, the young and those a lot older - all are welcome. Just when you start questioning why you're doing this, in a very subtle way, he is there to support your practice and your doubts. And by all means bring your sense of humour!"

"[Peter] is extremely funny and caring, and even though he very much encourages you to practice with softness and without ego, he also encourages you to challenge yourself and not to take the easy option if that’s your natural tendency!" "It’s really hard to put into words and summarise just how amazing it is to practice with Peter. After practising Ashtanga yoga for a few years I attended his workshop for the first time in 2022. My teachers who had been practising with him for a few years had spoken so highly of him and after 2 minutes of being in the room with him I could see why. Peter is an incredible teacher!! He has such a deep knowledge and understanding of the practice and he somehow manages to impart this on his students in a really unique and down to earth way. His adjustments are wonderful, but what’s even more wonderful is his approach to the practice as a whole, and how he manages to simplify things and encourage you to get out of your head, but at the same time help you understand things on a deeper level. His approach to Ashtanga is gentle and uncomplicated, and it’s had a lasting impact on my own personal practice. He is extremely funny and caring, and even though he very much encourages you to practice with softness and without ego, he also encourages you to challenge yourself and not to take the easy option if that’s your natural tendency! Whether he is adjusting you personally, holding the room together as a whole, or giving his talk, there is so much be learned from being around him. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or complete beginner I would highly recommend practising with Peter! His warmth and humour, as well as his immense experience and ability to meet each student where they’re at cannot fail to disappoint!"

"His way of holding the space for the yoga to unfold and his profound knowledge and love of the practice are rare, and are transmitted through touch and in the way he physically assists the asana" "Peter is an exceptional teacher of Ashtanga yoga. He has a unique humorous and loving way of transmitting the practice. No matter if you are a beginner or more experienced student you will be inspired and moved by practicing with Peter. His way of holding the space for the yoga to unfold and his profound knowledge and love of the practice are rare, and are transmitted through his touch and in the way he physically assists in the asana. It is difficult to put it into words, you need to experience it!
